Silhouette Assistant ("us", "we", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application. When you connect your Google account to Silhouette Assistant, we may access certain data from Google services to provide and improve our features. We only access data for which you have given explicit consent during the authentication process. This includes:
- User Profile Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture to personalize your experience.
- Google Drive Data: We access file metadata (like titles and IDs) and have the ability to create, modify, or delete files and folders on your behalf, but only when you explicitly instruct the assistant to do so. We do not store the content of your files on our servers.
- Google Calendar Data: We access your calendar events to schedule new meetings, find available times, and display your agenda at your request. We do not store your event details on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we access solely to provide the features of Silhouette Assistant. Specifically:
- To operate and maintain the application.
- To execute commands you give the assistant, such as creating a document or scheduling a meeting.
- To personalize your experience by addressing you by name and displaying your profile picture.
- To respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service.
Silhouette Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information obtained from Google APIs is not used for advertising purposes.
3. How We Store and Protect Your Information
We do not store your personal data, such as file contents or calendar event details, on our servers. Authentication tokens that allow Silhouette to access your Google account are stored securely using server-side sessions and are encrypted. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. All data accessed from Google APIs is used exclusively within the Silhouette Assistant application to provide its intended functionality.
5. Your Data Rights
You have the right to revoke our access to your Google account at any time. You can do this directly from your Google Account's security settings page. Revoking access will prevent Silhouette Assistant from performing any further actions on your behalf.
